Day 064 – A slump

Perhaps it was bound to happen sometime, but I’m going through a bit of a slump. Every time I try to find something to be curious about I feel a certain resistance as in “I’m tired of being curious.” For today I will let it go.

As funny as it may seem, this is one of the most inspiring daily recounts 😉 I have been following your “experiment” closely and had not been able to believe that one can practice curiosity that intensely for that long. I tend to think that curiosity, just like creativity, needs time to refuel itself every now and then and letting go is an exercise one can be just as proud of as working on it. Enjoy your adventures and thanks for sharing, Andrea

P.S. As to practicing that intensely for that long–it helps that I am away from many of the obligations of everyday life until the end of November. I’ve been wondering what it will be like to keep the experiment going when I am under, above all, more time pressure.

P.P.S. And you may be able to tell that today’s (Friday’s) post was composed and scheduled before I saw your comment. I was away from the computer all day yesterday. An exercise in curiosity in itself!
