It wasn’t much wildlife to be curious about, but I spent part of the afternoon sitting by a pond in the Vienna Woods. I noticed a noise I had never heard before and looked around thinking it could only be coming from one of the many ducks. At some point I realized it wasn’t a duck and so looked some more. It turned out that the incredibly loud, persistent sound was coming from a relatively small frog.
It wasn’t much curiosity, but at least it was some.
